NDIS Rollout

The NDIS is being rolled out across Australia in stages until 30 June 2019. To check how the NDIS is being implemented in your state or territory, please refer to the relevant section on our interactive map.

Eligibility For NDIS:

To determine your eligibility for the NDIS, you can use the online NDIS Access Checklist or contact the NDIS at 1800 800 110.

Eligibility for NDIS support is based on several factors:

You may qualify for an individual support plan if you:

  • Are under 65 years of age
  • Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen holding a Protected Special Category Visa
  • Have a permanent and/or significant disability that affects your daily living and requires assistance from others
  • Use equipment or assistive technology

For more detailed information on eligibility, please visit the NDIS Access Checklist at NDIS Access Checklist.

Even if you are not currently receiving disability services, you may still be eligible for the NDIS. You will need to contact the NDIS directly to complete an access request form, and no referral is necessary. For more information, visit www.ndis.gov.au or call 1800 800 110.
