Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about the NDIS, our services, accommodation, referrals and feedback. Can't find what you need? Call us or send an enquiry.
About us
We are a registered NDIS provider based in Western Sydney, supporting people with a disability since 2021. Our small, person-centred team delivers culturally sensitive support at home, in the community and in our accommodation homes in Mt Druitt and Marsden Park.
Yes. We partner with Baabayn Aboriginal Corporation to provide accommodation and day-to-day supports for Aboriginal people with a disability, and we work with local organisations to build a wrap-around support network for each participant.
Services
Accommodation (Supported Independent Living and short-term stays), in-home support and daily living skills, and community participation. See our services for details, or ask us about anything else you need.
We support participants across Western Sydney, including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Marsden Park, Rouse Hill, Penrith, St Marys and Parramatta. If you live nearby and are unsure, ask us: we will tell you straight away.
NDIS
You may be eligible if you are under 65, an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Protected Special Category Visa holder, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects your daily life. Use the NDIS Access Checklist or call the NDIS on 1800 800 110. Read more on our NDIS page.
We work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants. Tell us how your plan is managed when you enquire and we will arrange the paperwork with you or your plan manager.
Getting started
Call 1800 626 122, send an enquiry, or ask your support coordinator to refer you. We will call you back, talk through your goals and supports, check availability and arrange a meet-and-greet before any services begin.
Yes. Support coordinators, plan managers, hospitals, family members and participants themselves can use our referral form. Include the participant's plan management type and the services needed so we can respond quickly.
Accommodation
Our current homes and vacancies are listed on the accommodation vacancies page and are updated by our team. If nothing suits right now, send an enquiry and we will let you know when a place becomes available.
Feedback
Use our feedback and complaints form, call 0415 512 450, or email info@mayaacc.com.au. Complaints can be made anonymously and we respond within 3 business days. You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544 or at ndiscommission.gov.au.
